Individual therapy is a process where you work one-on-one with me in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. The process allows you to explore your feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, and also work through challenging or influential memories. Individual therapy can help you better understand yourself and others, identify aspects of your life that you would like to change, and help you to work towards that desired change.

Group therapy is a form of treatment where a small group of you and your peers meet regularly to talk, interact, and discuss problems with each other under the guidance of the group leader. The goal of group therapy is to give individuals a safe and comfortable place where they can work out problems and emotional issues. Participants gain insight into their own thoughts and behavior, and have the opportunity to offer suggestions and support to others. In addition, clients who have a difficult time with interpersonal relationships can benefit from the social interactions that are a basic part of the group therapy experience.

Couples and Family Therapy is a form of treatment that addresses the behaviors of all members of the family or relationship. It allows members of the family or relationship to identify the way their behaviors affect not only individual family members, but also the relationships between family members and the family unit as a whole. As such, treatment is usually divided between time spent on individual therapy and time spent on couples therapy, family therapy, or both, if necessary.

Life coaching will empower you to achieve your goals, maximize your potential, and make changes in your life. Life coaching isn't just giving advice. It's more about developing a relationship that helps you to decide what changes you need to make to achieve your potential. Life coaching and therapy are similar as they both develop on-going, confidential, one-on-one relationships. But, therapy focuses on deep emotional healing, while coaching concentrates on identifying personal strengths, areas for development and helps clients to plan positive goals.

Support groups bring together people who are going through or have gone through similar experiences. A support group provides an opportunity for people to share personal experiences, feelings, and coping strategies. They can meet for multiple reasons, like addiction, bereavement, medical issues, trauma, etc. The common experience shared among members of a support group often means they have similar feelings, worries, and everyday problems. Participating in a group provides you with an opportunity to be with people who are likely to have a common purpose and likely to understand one another. Support groups are not the same as group therapy sessions.
